HONOLULU (KHON2) — The search continues for two teens who have been missing since Friday. Assets from varying agencies have been looking for Samantha Chun and Joey Fujioka since Saturday after the couple did not return from a night out.

The National Weather Service had a high surf warning posted since yesterday for north facing shores. Ke Iki also has a reputation for being dangerous, as it claimed two lives earlier this winter. “Ke Iki beach: It’s dangerous, it’s deadly, it’s not a good swimming beach. Go to a beach where we have lifeguards,” Tinneny said.
