A running influencer from Texas has been disqualified from the New York City Marathon and banned from future New York City running events after he ran part of the course with people on e-bikes filming him.

Matt Choi, who ran the course in under three hours, was followed by two cameramen on electric bikes, who were said to have obstructed other runners.

More than 55,000 runners competed in the New York City Marathon this year, but one of them ended up banned from the event for the rest of his life thanks
