Alex Caruso got asked after Game 4 of the NBA Finals if he’s aware that he’s achieved a level of superhero-type status among fans of the Oklahoma City Thunder during this playoff run. After all, having zero 20-point games in the regular season followed by two — and counting — in the NBA Finals against the Indiana Pacers tends to have an effect on people.

After averaging just 7.1 points per game during the regular season, Caruso made NBA history in Game 4, becoming the first player ever to record multiple 20-point games in the Finals after posting none in the regular season, according to ESPN. He also scored 20 in Oklahoma City's Game 2 win last Sunday.

This NBA Finals series is far from over, but this Thunder team can do itself a huge favor by winning Game 4 and evening things up before heading back to home court. At times throughout the series, it has felt like Indiana’s style has gotten the best of the Thunder.
