The controversial hats were pulled from MLB's official online store, but have popped up on eBay and sold for as much as $1,000.

As collectibles expert Eric Whiteback shared on social media, several of the hats are now for sale on eBay for as much as $1,000.

New Era dropped its Overlap 5950 collection on Monday, featuring the logo of each team over its nickname, but some of the designs are questionable.

It's gotten to the point where MLB is pulling several Overlap hats from the team stores. Earlier this week, MLB pulled the Overlap hat for the Texas Rangers after the design happened to spell out a vulgar word in Spanish — something that was missed throughout the design and approval process.
