Aston Villa newcomer Marco Asensio struck twice in the second half to lead the Premier League team to a 2-0 victory over second-tier Cardiff City on Friday and into the FA Cup quarter-finals for the first time in 10 years.

This is surely the moment for Unai Emery's side to seize their opportunity in a competition they last won in 1957

Richard: Glad to get the win and not concede, but we were often too slow in possession when attacking. Asensio and Rashford seem to be a good partnership. It's also great that all of the new signings have slotted seamlessly into Emery's style of play. Hopefully the players aren't too tired for Tuesday's game.
