The Bruins will get two key pieces back on defense for Thursday’s game against Winnipeg. Charlie McAvoy and Brandon Carlo will both be back on the Bruins blue line leaving Hampus Lindholm as the only defenseman missing.

After an ugly 7-2 loss to the Buffalo Sabres on Jan. 28, the Boston Bruins made some notable changes to their lines at Jan. 30's morning skate. On offense, Elias Lindholm was moved back up to the second-line center spot, with Brad Marchand and Charlie Coyle as his wingers. With this, Matthew Poitras was dropped to the third-line center spot.

The Bruins expected far more when they signed Lindholm to a seven-year, $54.25 million contract on July 1. But this looks like his level.
