Egypt and Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah become the first player in the club's history to achieve a half-century of goals in Europe with his opening goal

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has said he is "very, very proud" of becoming the first player in the club's history to score 50 goals in Europe.

“Hopefully (it’s) not the last one,” said Salah, whose contract expires at the end of the season and has increasingly raised the prospect that this could be his last with the Merseyside club.
