The New York Yankees are taking on the Detroit Tigers today in Game 2 of a three-game set. However, they will be without Cody Bellinger against Tarik Skubal.

New York Yankees outfielder Cody Bellinger was held out the starting lineup possibly due to food poisoning after he ate a bad batch of chicken wings.

Manager Aaron Boone told reporters pregame that Bellinger came down with food poisoning after eating chicken wings on Monday night. He’s been vomiting and is considered day-to-day. The team expects him to be available again soon, but for now, he’s resting and recovering.
