Mount Paektu, an active stratovolcano straddling the border of North Korea and China, is the highest peak on the Korean peninsula and lies at the heart of North Korea’s foundation myth.

As part of its $25 million investment plan, the park is dedicating $11 million to the six-acre immersive area, which will transport families into a world celebrating the Kentucky landscape.
