On Wednesday evening, the Sacramento Kings’ 2024-25 season came to an unceremonious end with a blowout home loss to the Dallas Mavericks in the play-in tournament. The loss brought to an end a highly frustrating campaign that saw the team trade De’Aaron Fox and fire head coach Mike Brown.

Speaking to local reporters on Thursday during his exit interview, Kings All-Star big man Domantas Sabonis was asked to speak about his future in Sacramento. Some people believe the lefty could request a trade this summer since the Kings have missed the playoffs two years in a row.
