Israeli warplanes continued bombing various areas across the Gaza Strip on the 22nd day since the resumption of hostilities, leaving dozens of casualties.Medical sources reported that approximately 60 people were killed over the past 24 hours.

Cities, towns and refugee camps across the occupied West Bank went on strike on Monday in solidarity with Palestinians in the Gaza Strip amid Israel ’s relentless war on the enclave. Shops, businesses, schools, private and public institutions have been shut down, with streets completely emptied out.

Israel’s military admitted on Saturday it had fired on ambulances in the Gaza Strip after identifying them as “suspicious vehicles”, with Hamas condemning it as a “war crime” that killed at least one person. The incident took place last Sunday in the Tal al-Sultan neighbourhood in the southern city of Rafah, close to the Egyptian border.
