Combat-injured Army veteran Sam Brown tapped by President Donald Trump to lead memorial affairs for the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Sam Lilley, the airliner pilot killed in a midair collision with a U.S. Army helicopter near Washington on Jan. 29, will be remembered in a public memorial service Saturday.

A commemoration ceremony was held to honor the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Colmar at Colmar, France, Feb. 1-2, 2025.
