Avatar 3 is going to take us beyond the moral paradigm seen in the franchise so far, director James Cameron has teased. A new look at the Ash People, AKA the Mangkwan Clan, has also been revealed by Empire magazine,

James Cameron recently sat down with Empire Magazine to give fans an look inside what they can expect for Avatar 3. Titled Avatar: Fire and Ash, the film is the follow-up to the 2022 film Avatar: The Way of Water.

In a new interview with Empire Magazine, Cameron told them that Avatar: Fire and Ash will feature "some really clever action set-pieces" and teases that it will be a heart-racer,

We’re trying to evolve beyond the ‘all humans are bad, all Na’vi are good’ paradigm. Honestly, I'm interested. The Na'vi clans we've been introduced to so far have been largely peaceful, although they're able to defend themselves against the forces of the RDA when needed.

As work on the movie continues to steam ahead, director James Cameron has said there will be some "brave choices" in the story of 'Avatar: Fire and Ash'.

But this time, fans can expect a slight shift in the franchise's familiar moral focus. According to director James Cameron, humans will no longer be the outright bad guys threatening the always peaceful Na'vi.
