A California native, Gemignani opened his first restaurant, Tony’s Pizza Napoletana, in San Francisco’s North Beach in 2009.

A mum of two has tragically died after choking on a slice of pizza at the restaurant where she worked. Chef Paulina Wanat was caught on CCTV as she started vomiting after trying the slice.
