A Powerball player in California only has days to claim a near $1.4 million prize. The ticket is set to expire Monday, June 16, the California Lottery said in a June 12 news release. Someone bought the winning ticket for the Dec. 18 drawing, and they matched five out of six numbers, McClatchy News reported from lottery officials.
