Three months after being fired as Temple’s head coach in his third season at the helm, Stan Drayton reportedly has a new coaching gig in Happy Valley. According to multiple reports, Drayton is set to take the vacant Penn State running backs coaching job.

The Nittany Lions are set to hire Stan Drayton to fill the position, according to a source with knowledge of the situation. Drayton was most recently the head coach at Temple, but was fired in November during his third season leading the program. He amassed a 9-25 record in his time with the Owls.

Drayton is a coaching veteran who has won three national championships, one as a player, and has head-coaching and NFL experience.
