Louis Theroux travels to the West Bank to meet some of the large and growing ultra-nationalist community of Israeli settlers in a new series for BBC iPlayer and BBC Two

Louis Theroux is set to return to the Palestinian West Bank to meet Israeli settlers for a new BBC show. The documentary makers said he wanted to give: “Insight into tribalism and the ways in which we can blind ourselves to the humanity of those around us” with the new project.

The documentary will look at the "fundamentalists" fueling "settler expansionism up close, and the human cost it entails."

Culled from nearly 2,000 hours of footage, a team of Israeli and Palestinian journalists spent 2019-2023 filming the "cold and dehumanizing process by which people are forced to stand and watch helplessly as their homes and schools are bulldozed,

Louis Theroux will return to the Palestinian West Bank to meet Israeli settlers, and give an "insight into tribalism and the ways in which we can blind ourselves to the humanity of those around us".
