Willie Nelson recorded his iconic album "Red Headed Stranger" in Garland at Autumn Sound Studio, now called Audio Dallas.

The song was inspired by Nelson's grandmother who read from the Bible and would often sing the Christian hymn "Rock of Ages" after dinner.
