NASCAR had Xfinity and Cup Series races at Mexico City this past weekend, and two insiders believe it should return next year. On The Teardown podcast, Jordan Bianchi and Jeff Gluck of The Athletic explained why Mexico City should host NASCAR Xfinity and Cup Series races in 2026.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series heads back to Mexico City for the first time since 2008 on Saturday (4:30 p.m. ET, The CW).

The NASCAR Xfinity Series is back at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez for the first time since 2008 with The Chilango 150 on June 14. The Xfinity Series had a four-year stretch of races in Mexico City in the 2000s as a standalone race.
