The third-oldest ballpark in the National League has witnessed snow and fireworks, heroics and heartaches, All-Stars, Hall of Famers, and one-hit wonders.

Fulmer, designated for assignment by the Boston Red Sox last week, has signed a minor-league deal with the Chicago Cubs, according to the Des Moines Register. He has been assigned to Triple-A Iowa.
