The Mumbai police arrested one more suspect in connection with the murder of veteran Maharashtra politician Baba Siddique on Friday. The accused was arrested from Punjab’s Ludhiana in a joint operation by Mumbai and Punjab police.

The accused, identified as 32-year-old Sujit Sushil Singh, is being transported to Mumbai for further questioning.

Sujit Sushil Singh (32), a resident of Ghatkopar in Mumbai and the 15th person to be held in the case, was linked to absconding accused Zeeshan Akhtar, one of the alleged masterminds of the killing.
