Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs rolled over Russell Wilson and the Pittsburgh Steelers on Christmas Day, winning 29–10 on the road to improve to 15–1 on the season. The two-time defending champs clinched the top seed in the AFC and will enjoy a bye week, which could be an extra special time for Mahomes and his family.

It was a very merry Christmas for Kansas City fans as the team claimed its 15th victory and the top postseason seed.

Mahomes was scrambling through the pocket and tossed the ball to Perine, right over Steelers linebacker Payton Wilson. Perine dove down to catch the pass and convert on the third-down play. The Chiefs quarterback made sure to credit Perine for the catch while sharing a playful message with his teammate on social media.
