WWE might have a pretty unique opportunity on its hands at the upcoming Night of Champions to have impeccable storytelling meet a shock result that goes down beloved by fans in history.

John Cena was pissed off after Ron Killings attacked him in the opening segment of tonight’s (June 13) SmackDown, so he called R-Truth out for a fight later in the night. John was instead greeted by “Cult of Personality” and CM Punk.

On last night's Raw, the opening segment saw the Second City Saint come out to confront John Cena, in turn setting up Punk vs. Cena for the WWE Championship at Night of Champions later this month. For those unaware, Night of Champions takes place from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on 28 June.
