Despite its fishy name, salmonella has no connection to the underwater creature salmon. Rather, the story behind the bacteria is one of disputed credit between two American researchers. The Southern Nevada Health District announced today that four people have been infected with salmonella linked to a multistate outbreak of the disease in brown cage-free and brow certified-organic eggs.
