The No. 4-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide held off the No. 2-ranked Georgia Bulldogs 41-34 in a game for the ages on Saturday night. The Bulldogs erased a 28-0 deficit and even took a 34-33 lead with a little over two minutes remaining in the fourth quarter.

Georgia Bulldogs head coach Kirby Smart suffered his first regular season loss in four years in UGA’s 41-34 loss at the Alabama Crimson Tide. Smart has a lot of reasons to be proud of Georgia, but ultimately the Bulldogs did not get the job done and Smart takes ownership of that.

The Bulldogs were dominated by the Crimson Tide in the 1st half, falling into a 30-7 deficit. Nothing was working, with the defense getting gashed by Jalen Milroe and Carson Beck throwing 2 interceptions.
