While some say the end of the Las Vegas Sands casino deal is a win, the Nassau County executive said there's interest from other bidders.

Any new third-party developer at the Nassau Coliseum replacing Las Vegas Sands would need to continue the casino resort company's environmental review process and assume all of the terms previously negotiated with Nassau County, a company official said.

The company cited the threat that online gambling posed to its profits in its decision to bow out of the competition for one of three casino licenses around New York City.
