President Donald Trump called protesters in Los Angeles “animals” and “a foreign enemy” in a speech at Fort Bragg as he defended deploying the military on those protesting his immigration enforcement.
A dozen people who live, work or frequent the neighborhood said President Trump's use of the military was inflaming the protests against recent immigration raids.
The curfew extends to sections of downtown Los Angeles where protests have turned into instances of vandalism and looting.
