Michigan Lottery officials are working to find a player who won $25,000 a year for life. The player's Lucky for Life ticket matched a Friday game drawing with the numbers 04-07-09-24-36, the Michigan Lottery announced in a press release. The winner bought the ticket at Lakeview Market, 9775 Elizabeth Lake Rd. in White Lake Township.

Carl Cooper, 67, of Clio, won the big prize when his Lucky For Life ticket matched the five white balls drawn on Sept. 23, 2024.

“It has been an incredibly lucky week for Michigan Lottery players,” Lottery Commissioner Suzanna Shkreli said in a Thursday release. “These big wins have helped bring awareness to Lottery and will help us post a strong finish to the fiscal year with a contribution to the School Aid Fund topping $1 billion for the sixth straight year.”

A Michigan Lottery player won the $1.72 million Lotto 47 jackpot in Wednesday night’s drawing. One ticket matched the winning Lotto 47 numbers drawn Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2024: 04-12-25-33-41-47. The winning ticket was purchased online at MichiganLottery.com. It’s the 5th time the Lotto 47 jackpot has been won this year.

Someone who bought a lottery ticket in Connecticut is $25,000 a year richer.
