One person has died and five others, including a child, were rescued after a boat capsized in waters off Redondo Beach Sunday, authorities confirmed to KTLA. Five people were rescued Sunday afternoon, but one man was reported missing and later found unresponsive inside the overturned vessel.

One person is dead and five people were rescued after a small sailboat overturned in choppy conditions off the Redondo Beach coast.The incident happened just before 1:30 p.m. Authorities were called out for an overturned 25-foot boat about two miles off the coast where five people were clinging to the side - including a child.
