With a new retailer pre-order date set for the Nintendo Switch 2, April 24, the exact times you can place a pre-order have begun to surface.

Several major US retailers are planning midnight events for Switch 2 preorders on April 24 and/or for the actual launch on June 5.

Nintendo has announced that Switch 2 pre-orders will begin in the U.S. on April 24, 2025, and that the original price of $449.99 for the new console will remain the same. However, Switch 2 accessories will "experience price adjustments from those announced on April 2 due to changes in market conditions.
