Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park will remain closed over Memorial Day weekend. According to park officials, over the last week, snowplow operators have faced some setbacks from previous progress.

Wintry weather continues to close the roadway through Rocky Mountain National Park, according to the National Park Service.

Trail Ridge Road is not anticipated to open over the Memorial Day holiday weekend, the National Park Service said in a news release.
