Yet, Kisner’s and Woods’ team, Jupiter Links Golf Club, turned in a rather poor performance in their debut. They lost to the Los Angeles Golf Club by a score of 12-to-1, as Collin Morikawa and Sahith Theegala hit a bevy of solid approaches while Justin Rose poured in plenty of putts. At least Kisner gave everyone a great laugh amid the blowout.
TGL is trying to change the way fans watch golf. The new venture offers a spin on a golf simulator league, in which players have to still chip and putt on an actual green. The league was created in part by Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods.
Joining Woods will be Kevin Kisner and Tom Kim, while Adam Scott and Keegan Bradley round out the three-man lineup for Boston. Woods, Kiz and Max Homa took a beating in their first match, losing to 12-1 versus Los Angeles.
