Heavy rainfall prompts evacuation order along Russian River
Locations impacted by the evacuation order include Mirabel Park Resort and Mirabel Trailer Park in Forestville; Johnsons Resort, Parkers Resort, Creekside Resort and Riverside Park in Guerneville; and Old Bohemian Highway in Monte Rio.
House falls into Russian River amid Northern California mudslides, road closures
The mudslide was reported at approximately 12:30 p.m. at the intersection of Westside Road and Rio Vista Road in Forestville, the sheriff's office said in a Facebook post. The house, which was unoccupied, was later spotted downstream, Wood said.
