The Minecraft movie is extending its theatrical run with a sing-along release called A Minecraft Movie: Block Party Edition. Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures announced plans to build upon their already successful time in theaters today.

Moviescreenings made news earlier this month when the film opened in theaters to raucous sold out screenings, filled with teens screaming and applauding and reciting lines from the film, even though it had only been out for a few days at most at the time.

On May 2nd, theaters across North America will host special "Block Party Edition" screenings of A Minecraft Movie, allowing audiences to sing, cheer, and meme along with their favorite moments from the movie.
