The Cowboys' first-year coach has been prepping for the NFL Draft and "can't wait" to get his players back in the building.
The Cowboys hired Nick Sorensen as their special teams coach. Sorensen, 46, has close ties to newly hired head coach Brian Schottenheimer. The two worked together in Seattle and Jacksonville.
So far, the Cowboys have added six players from other organizations in free agency and trades. The oldest is defensive lineman Solomon Thomas, who turns 30 in December.
It will be interesting to see if coach Brian Schottenheimer comes up with ... but he will be valuable for new coordinator Nick Sorensen. What's the risk: None, particularly financially.
