A big spotlight is about to shine on Lower Trestles and nearby San Clemente as the LA28 Olympics gets ready to ride a wave into the area.

Officials in San Clemente are working with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to install beach surveillance cameras intended to monitor for boats that may be carrying undocumented immigrants.
