Meagan Furey opened a flower shop, BeachN' Blooms, on Padre Island in Feb. to use the profits to help pay her mom's medical bills. A day before the original grand opening, Meagan's mom passed away.

Local Coast, an Anne Arundel clothing brand, will be opening a storefront where the Leader, another clothing store, once stood.
