The New York Yankees' star obliterated a ball that nearly made it out of Kauffman Stadium on Tuesday in Kansas City. Judge, in the first inning of the Yankees' matchup with the Royals, smashed a home run that traveled 469 feet and almost cleared the Hall of Fame wall out in left field.
Aaron Judge wasted no time making his introduction to the Kansas City Royals fans at Kauffman Stadium on Tuesday evening. During the top of the first inning, Judge also introduced himself to Royals starter Noah Cameron, taking the first hittable pitch he saw and obliterating it for a 469-foot home run that nearly left the stadium.
According to USA Today, Judge is the only player in modern-era baseball, which dates to 1901, to have this many homers (23) with so high a batting average (.396) in his team's first 64 games.
