At about 9:30 p.m., The Associated Press called the race for Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks, who defeated former Maryland Republican Gov. Larry Hogan. At an event at the University of Maryland Hotel in College Park, loud cheers and applause could be heard shortly after the race was called.
