A piece of the AT&T Stadium roof fell onto the field prior to the Cowboys' Monday night showdown against the Houston Texans. Specifically, a large piece of metal fell from the ceiling roughly two hours prior to kickoff as the retractable roof was opening.

A large piece of metal, along with some debris, fell from the AT&T Stadium roof whilst it was being opened hours prior to Monday night’s Houston Texans-Dallas Cowboys game.

Ahead of the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans squaring off on Monday Night Football, a large piece of sheet metal fell to the AT&T Stadium playing surface while the retractable roof was being opened during pregame. Stadium officials have since made the decision to close the roof for tonight’s game.
