NEW DELHI (ANI)- Indian pace sensation Jasprit Bumrah has been honoured as the ICC Men’s Test Cricketer of the Year for 2024, following his finest-ever performance in the red-ball format, according to the International Cricket Council (ICC).

Jasprit Bumrah won the ICC men’s test cricketer of the year award after the Indian fast bowler finished 2024 with a rich haul of 71 wickets in 13 test matches.

Indian cricket star Jasprit Bumrah recently shared that India's victory in the ICC T20 World Cup means more to him than being recently named the ICC Cricketer Of The Year. Notably, the Indian pacer was instrumental in India's win against South Africa in the tournament's final match.

Indian cricketer Jasprit Bumrah was awarded the ICC men's Test Cricketer of the Year for 2024. Bumrah claimed 71 wickets in 13 matches, returning from a back injury to make significant contributions in keeping India competitive.

Bumrah played a total of 13 Tests and eight ODIs last year. He secured 71 and 15 wickets, respectively. As a result, Bumrah became only the fifth Indian cricketer to win the aforementioned accolade.
