MAGA North Carolina gubernatorial candidate Mark Robinson reportedly blew off an emergency declaration vote for his state as Hurricane Helene barreled toward the east coast. Local news station WRAL reports that Robinson,

North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson, who has called on Gov. Roy Cooper to deploy more resources to help people in western North Carolina, was the only Council of State member to not vote on Cooper's request to declare a state of emergency,

North Carolina election officials are scrambling to make sure the state's over 7 million registered voters can cast a ballot in the upcoming presidential election, after flooding from Hurricane Helene caused extensive damage in the western part of the state.

North Carolina election officials have said early voting will start as planned on Oct. 17. But they don't know how many voting sites might be unusable in the swing state because of Hurricane Helene.

This bombshell report comes as Robinson has been traveling around the state trying to portray himself as helpful in recovery efforts.

Voter registration ends Oct. 11 and election offices are closed in 12 western counties in North Carolina, one of seven states expected to decide the race for president.
