Rep. Danny Alvarez said it's not about fluoride but government agencies should not decide whether to put drugs and chemicals in people’s bodies.

Lawmakers in both the House and Senate passed what's being called the "Farm Bill". It takes up a number of issues, but one section is being debated on the most: Should fluoride be in drinking water? And who gets to decide that?

The bill does not explicitly mention fluoride, but includes language restricting the use of certain additives in water supplies. The bill now awaits Governor Ron DeSantis’ signature.
