Middlesbrough ’s Emmanuel Latte Lath is expected to join MLS club Atlanta United for an MLS record fee in the region of $22-24m plus add-ons. The 26-year-old forward had a medical in London before flying out to finalise the details of the move to the MLS club.

Atlanta United has smashed the MLS transfer record by signing striker Emmanuel Latte Lath from Middlesbrough.
