Liverpool are edging towards a huge deal for Bayer Leverkusen star Florian Wirtz and one of the Reds’ current stars has dropped a major hint that a deal could be very close indeed

Dominik Szoboszlai has warned Florian Wirtz ahead of the German's expected move to Liverpool. After weeks of speculation, it was recently reported that Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen had finally agreed on a package for Wirtz.

Liverpool supporters were understandably left last week after it emerged that their club had struck a record deal with Bayer Leverkusen for Florian Wirtz. The Reds had two bids rejected, the last one of £113m, which would have seen £100m paid up front with performance-related add-ons, but have finally got the deal over the line.
