ORMOND BEACH, Fla. (WFLA) — A young Ormond Beach boy at the center of a Missing Child Alert was found dead Sunday night. An alert was issued for 4-year-old Waylon Childs around 2 p.m. after he was reported missing from the area of Fleming Avenue, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

A Florida MISSING CHILD Alert has been issued for 4-year-old Waylon Childs, last seen in the area of the 600 block of Fleming Avenue in Ormond Beach. Waylon is a white male, 3 feet tall, and weighs approximately 30 pounds.
