Thornton Township supervisor candidate Napoleon Harris and his Democratic slate were leading for all offices Tuesday night.

Incumbent Tiffany Henyard lost her bid for re-election as Village of Dolton Mayor to Jason House, who won 3,171 votes to 152, while write-in votes for Henyard were unclear.

Voters in Thornton Township will also have a chance to decide who will be the next supervisor of the largest township in the state.

Trustee Jason House, who defeated incumbent Mayor Tiffany Henyard in the February primary, is headed toward the mayor’s chair, leading Casundra Hopson-Jordan by a wide margin.
