A North Jersey man was stabbed to death outside a ShopRite grocery store in Newark on Monday night, cops said. Rodney Mayes, a 56-year-old man from East Orange, was killed following an argument outside the store, NJ.com reported.

The incident occurred around 7 p.m. on Monday night where 56-year-old Rodney Mayes from East Orange was fatally stabbed.

The 56-year-old was in a verbal dispute with another man before he was stabbed outside the ShopRite, prosecutors said.
