World number one Aryna Sabalenka reached her fourth Stuttgart Open final with a hard-fought 7-5 6-4 win over Italy's Jasmine Paolini. The 26-year-old is targeting a first title, though, having lost to Ash Barty in 2021 and Iga Swiatek in both 2022 and 2023.

For the Belarusian, it will be her fourth Stuttgart final but also another chance to finally win it all at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix. In the past, she lost in the Stuttgart finals to Ashleigh Barty (2021) and Iga Swiatek (2022 and 2023).

Jelena Ostapenko continued her dominance over Iga Swiatek, this time beating the world No. 2 on her favorite surface.
