Zoe Ball announced on air this morning on Radio 2 and BBC Sounds that she has decided to step down as presenter of the weekday Radio 2 Breakfast Show in December. Zoe will remain on the station, more to be announced soon.

BBC Radio 2 has announced Scott Mills as the new host of the station's weekday breakfast show. The Radio 2 DJ will take over from colleague Zoe Ball in December, who announced plans to step down from the early morning show today (November 19) after six years at the helm.
